Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ClearShot (tryclearshot.com) or the ClearShot Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

What ClearShot is

ClearShot is a job listing intelligence platform that analyzes job descriptions and provides grades and insights to help job seekers evaluate listings before applying. ClearShot also surfaces curated job listings through its Opportunity Feed, sourced from third-party job boards and graded by AI. ClearShot is intended for informational purposes only.

ClearShot grades are informational only. We do not endorse any employer, job listing, or application outcome. You are responsible for your own application decisions.

Accounts

You may use ClearShot without an account. Optional account creation is available via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

Paid plans and billing

ClearShot offers paid subscription tiers. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the selected billing interval. All payments are processed by Stripe.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are not issued for partial billing periods
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Promotional codes are single-use, non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to ClearShot in a way that exceeds normal usage or circumvents rate limits
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to ClearShot grades or data
• Use ClearShot to generate content for spam, fraud, or deceptive purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the grading logic or underlying models
• Share account credentials or license keys with others

Intellectual property

All ClearShot software, branding, design, and grading methodology is owned by ClearShot. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any ClearShot intellectual property. You retain ownership of any job listing text you submit — by submitting it, you grant ClearShot a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating a grade.

Disclaimers

ClearShot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that grades are accurate, complete, or free from error. AI-generated analysis may contain mistakes. ClearShot is not responsible for any employment decisions made based on grade results.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearShot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to missed job opportunities, incorrect grades, or data loss.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of ClearShot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Opportunity Feed

The ClearShot Opportunity Feed surfaces job listings sourced from third-party providers including JSearch and RapidAPI. ClearShot grades these listings using AI to help users identify quality opportunities. ClearShot does not post, manage, or control these listings and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or content. External job links open third-party websites. ClearShot is not responsible for the hiring practices, application processes, or outcomes of any employer or job board. Listings may be removed or changed by the original publisher at any time without notice.
